Brad EvansBrad Evans has practised law in Ottawa and Orléans since he was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1980.

He was born and raised in rural Cumberland, Ontario, a small town east of Ottawa. Mr. Evans completed two years of a B.Com. (Hons.) at the University of Ottawa before deciding to pursue a career in law.

His law practice focuses on wills and powers of attorney, estate administration, residential and commercial real estate, and corporate/commercial law.

Mr. Evans has contributed to his profession over the years as: (i) a member of the Carleton County Law Association; (ii) a member of the Estate Planning Council of Ottawa, a local council of professionals which meets monthly to discuss matters pertaining to estates, estate planning, wills and powers of attorney; (iii) a participant in local Ontario Bar Association monthly luncheons with his colleagues, being a forum to discuss and stay current on issues relating to wills and estate administration; and (iv) an instructor at the Bar Admission Course, teaching real estate law.

Like other members of Dust Evans, he is an active member of the community. He was member of the Ottawa Mission's Board of Directors for more than 18 years, serving as President for two years. He continues to be a voting member of this venerable shelter for the homeless in Ottawa. He currently sits on the Board of Arts Ottawa East, a local arts council which was instrumental in the start-up and completion of the Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Heart of Orleans Business Improvement Association.

When not practising law, he ties up his skates, playing old timers' hockey, and enjoys cross-country skiing. In the summer he enjoys sailing, kayaking, playing tennis, and relaxing with family and friends at the cottage.
